How it works

Clean the screen gently and use comfortable brightness in steady lighting. Click Start inspection to open the pattern view. Use Previous, Next or the arrow keys to move through six solid colors. Optionally choose Fullscreen; Exit fullscreen restores the pattern view. Click End inspection or press Escape to close. Inspect the screen yourself; no automatic verdict is generated. A consistently dark point on bright patterns or a bright point on dark patterns can merit closer inspection. Dust, reflections and image scaling can resemble a defect; compare under consistent conditions. This page does not detect, repair or count faulty pixels. Patterns change only on your action; there is no flashing cycle. Visible controls occupy part of the view, so inspect those areas in another window position if needed.
