How it works

Enter a Unix timestamp in seconds or milliseconds and view its UTC or local date. Convert a date back using an ISO date with an explicit offset, or choose a date, time and timezone. Copy individual values or download the conversion as TXT or JSON.

Frequently asked questions

Are timestamps seconds or milliseconds?

Both are supported. Choose the input unit explicitly to avoid ambiguity. Output includes both units and the UTC date.

Which timezone is used?

Switch between UTC and your local timezone for display. For date input, select a timezone or enter an ISO date with Z or an explicit offset. Times skipped or repeated by daylight-saving changes require an unambiguous input.
